Siding is nearly complete on house and garage

Siding!!!

The house is now being covered in siding! We have one picture that's low quality, we didn't have the usual camera along. But you can see the color and how far along the project is.
The drywalling is almost complete, the siding should be done in a few days. The next thing we hope to see soon are interior doors, and then cabinets!.

We were able to get in and look around a bit today. The drywall is mostly up. The rooms in the house now look way more like what the end result will be.

insulation and drywall

Just a quick update. The siding has not been started so the new pictures aren't that interesting yet. I've included one that shows some drywalling being done and you can see some insulation. The insulation and plastic is all in and the drywall is underway.
Hopefully we'll see some siding soon!

House update

No pictures this time.

We were there today and the doors are on (but unlocked) so we walked through and the insulation mostly in on all the walls.

We realize how thankful we should be that there haven't been any delays in the building process, everything is going smoothly... Knock on Wood.

While walking around met another couple that might buy the house next door. They have a baby boy and another one on the way... should be a good neighbourhood for kids!

Electrical wiring in the house

Some of the wiring we saw on the evening of Aug. 2nd. We also noticed that most of the plumbing has been completed. We're looking forward to seeing the furnace go in soon, as well as duct work related to the heating system.

Windows in the house

The windows are all in. The doors are not. It may be the last day that we
can show up after hours and wander freely. Once the doors are in it will be at lock-up stage and we will only be able to peer through the windows like kids outside a toy store.
